N-of-One leverages knowledge gained from helping one client to help others. We collect data on molecular markers in individual patients and track the outcomes. We collaborate with researchers who would like to aggregate our data with relevant data sets from their labs and analyze it for insight into mechanisms underlying responses to treatments.
This research could identify new mechanisms for treatment and lead to even better drugs. For scientists, we provide a link between basic cancer biology research and clinical informationlinks that may yield novel insights or validate the importance of molecular pathways.
All outcomes (diagnostic studies, treatment efficacy, drug toxicity, quality of life, etc.) are captured and used to help inform decisions about diagnostics and treatments for specific patients. Over time, aggregated, de-identified patient data will be of value for guiding drug development and treatment protocols.
Additionally, N-of-One offers a forum for expert opinion, panels, and physician-researcher networking.
Ultimately, by identifying novel drug indications and targets, we can help cancer patients everywhere, not only those who are clients.
